The Washington Commanders kicked off their season last Sunday, the team recently changed its name, so fans were excited to buy lots of new merch at the game. One of the popular items was a Washington Commanders coffee mug, not because everyone wanted to wake up with the Commanders, BUT because the coffee mug featured a "W" logo in front of the an outline for Washington State... The Commanders do not play in Washington State, they play in Washington D.C. Needless to say the coffee mugs have become quite the collectors item, as they were quickly taken off the shelves at the team shop.
