Sailing Crew Rescues Golden Gate Bridge Jumper

Jumpers usually do not survive the 220-foot plunge

(San Francisco, CA)  --  A California sailing crew is being celebrated for rescuing a man who jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge.  The crew saw the man jump Monday afternoon.  He survived and they were able to pull him out of the water.  The "Marin Independent Journal" says they then delivered him to the Coast Guard station in Sausalito.  There's been no word yet on the full extent of his injuries .  Jumpers usually do not survive the 220-foot plunge.
