This is a good reminder for all of us:
25-year-old Teresa Mayhew learned she had more than doubled her weight eating the free food provided by her employer McDonald’s.
Teresa said she’d eat the high calorie fast food for breakfast and lunch, and continued her bad eating habits at home with pizza and other fattening stuff for dinner.
“I was loving the food we sell at McDonald’s - I just kept eating and eating,” she told The Mail. “I didn't really know when I was full so it was easy to keep on going.”
In two years, she ballooned to 268 pounds and was wearing a size 22.
Teresa joined Weight Watchers and started eating salads instead of her usual McDonald’s cheeseburgers.
In two years, Teresa has now dropped 158 pounds, and is down to a size 10. “In work, when I see customers I haven't seen for a while they say, ‘You've changed so much, how have you done it?,’” Teresa said she can't really say: well....Easy... Just don’t eat here....so she says she is just eating healthier...
This is no slam against McDonalds...we love them....but we all know its important to include healthy meals into our daily eats...and not just fast food.
