I had the chance to spend some time with Little Big Town before the Rascal Flatts show. They were celebrating an amazing week…their song 'Pontoon' hit # 1 this week. It’s LBT’s first # 1 song. Then the very next day they were nominated for 3 CMA’s. Good week for LBT!

Many of the biggest names in country music – including Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Sara Evans and the ladies of Pistol Annies – have come together in a hilarious viral video for Little Big Town’s summer smash anthem, “Pontoon.” In the clip, a slew of country artists can be seen belting out the tune in different scenes, some laughing too hard to keep a straight face. Eli Young Band, Lady Antebellum, Wynonna Judd, Jake Owen and Hunter Hayes also make appearances. “Pontoon” has garnered nearly four million views on YouTube in its original form, and is quickly approaching platinum status on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart. The track is Little Big Town’s fastest-rising single to date, vaulting to No. 3 on the country charts in just 16 weeks. “Pontoon” is the first single from “Tornado,” which comes out September 11th.

Earlier this week, the Merriam-Webster added the term "bucket list" to its vocabulary, describing it as "a list of things that one has not done before but wants to do before dying."
Already, the word is being redefined.
One 11-year-old boy from Canada is thanking his service dog in a very special way during the final days of the Jack Russell terrier's life.
Cole Hein set up a "Lick It List" for his 14-year-old dog Bingo, who was given to his family in 2005 by the Ontario-based National Service Dogs due to an undiagnosed medical condition that causes Cole to stop breathing.
Although Cole now has control of his condition, Bingo has helped save his life several times over the last few years; when he stops breathing, she's trained to bark to alert others that her owner needs CPR, according to the Winnipeg Free Press.

Bingo, who was inducted into the Purina Animal Hall of Fame in 2010, according to Modern Dog Magazine, was diagnosed with canine Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome and was given just weeks to live.
On Bingo's canine-friendly bucket list: "I want to take her on one last public outing to Ruckers [recreation center]. I want to walk her around the block twice. And I want to get her treats from around the world," Cole tells the Free Press.
Cole's getting a hand with that last hope. The family set up a Facebook page, and Cole "is teasing Bingo about her new treats coming," his mom, Mandi, added to the Winnipeg Free Press. (The family is not asking for monetary donations, and Bingo's veterinarian bills are covered by insurance.)
Adds Mandi: "Cole is doing the happy dance."
My niece Holly and husband Royce welcomed their second boy to the family Brennan Donald (middle name after my brother – Brennan’s Grandpa Don) Stringer! Brennan joins his older brother Karson who’s 3 years old.
Last weekend was my first chance to head to Prescott to meet Brennan and have some fun time with Karson.
So much fun!
