When I was 7 years old my parents declared on a cold Chicago day - no more shoveling snow! We are moving to Arizona! That's when I went from a Chicago born kid to an Arizona girl. I loved growing up in Arizona. We went swimming almost year round and dressed in shorts on Christmas day. How can you go wrong with that! I graduated from Cactus High School here in the valley and headed to the University of Arizona. I loved life as a Wildcat! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from U of A. Hmmmm, did I skip a lot about my time at U of A? I know the photos of my years at U of A are floating around out there. I've had emails from fellow alumni who assure me they could add some more fun to my personality page with those pictures! Maybe later kids! Yikes! Once college was complete I started my radio travels. I moved to Seattle and that's were it all started. I caught the radio bug and it never let go of me. I spent the first 13 years of my radio career hosting morning shows. I did mornings in Seattle, Milwaukee, Birmingham and right here in Phoenix. In the mid nineties I had a chance to fulfill a life time dream by co-hosting mornings on KNIX. It was an experience I'll never forget. I learned a great deal about radio and music from the Owens family. I thank Buck, Michael and Buddy Owens for allowing me to live out a dream right here at KNIX. Five years ago I left Seattle and came back home to KNIX Country. There's nothing better than doing what you love in life surrounded by family and friends. That's what brought me back home to the valley. The desire to be near the people I love while doing what I love. Thanks to you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. Thank you for hanging out at KNIX Country and making it so much fun everyday!

    I dropped a $20 dollar bill in a nickle slot at
    Harrah's Ak Chin Casino during a break at the
    Ben & Matt Poker Tournament. I hit my first
    spin and ended up winning $ 2,500.00 dollars!!
    Thanks to everyone at Harrah's for making it
    such an amazing experience!!
