Father of two Keith Urban recently admitted to Yahoo Australia that maintaining work-life balance isn't always easy.In fact, sometimes he stinks at it.
"There is no perfect science. I sometimes do a crap job of it and it falls in a big heap and I've got to put it back together again," Urban said. "I don't do anything perfectly, but I love our family and I'm in it. I'm committed to correcting the balance."
After being slammed for her Sound of Music Live performance, Carrie Underwood has taken to Twitter to preach the Gospel.
"Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus," Underwood wrote. "They will be in my prayers tonight... 1 Peter 2:1-25."
The Bible scripture in question commands people to "rid yourselves of all malice and deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander of every kind."
Underwood had likewise issued a religious tweet immediately following the Thursday broadcast, writing, "Glory to God tonight... I couldn't be more proud."

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ashlie (aka Mrs. AntMan or lady Ant as I have been referred to ;o).
I have highjacked my husband's blog.
Well, not really. He asked me to write a blog about my experience being pregnant and moving here to Phoenix. I'm currently entering my 2nd trimester and we couldn't be more excited about what's to come.
Ant and I have been married for 3 years and this is our 1st child together. He has a 10 year old daughter named Hannah. The scary part is Hannah reminds me so much of myself at her age and I didn't even have her! But I love her to pieces!!
We just moved to The Valley from Nashville. So far we really enjoy the area and are looking forward to meeting new people and emerging ourselves into our new city.
If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have never guessed this is were we would be in our lives; new city, new job and a new baby coming soon?! So much has happened in a very short amount of time and being pregnant is a rolleracoater ride in itself. Now you add the other new things and it makes for one wild ride!
Now that y'all know a little bit about us, I would like to get back to this whole pregnancy thing.
There is SOOOOO much they (whoever they are - books, friends or family) don't tell you about being pregnant. I'm not sure why THEY don't tell you. Maybe they just want you to find out for yourself or they just don't want to tell you it sucks??
I guess it doesn't help that I'm the first one out of my group of girlfriends to be pregnant. I really don't have a point of reference besides my family or the book/movie of "What to Expect When You're Expecting".
In the last 3 months I have learned and experienced some very weird, TMI things I never thought I would. I guess every woman that has been pregnant can relate in someway. I'm not saying its all bad. It's just weird.
The worse part for me is that for the last three months I have had the worse morning sickness...which of course doesn't just happen in the mornings!
It happens ALL. DAY. LONG.
Morning sickness is the hang over that never ends! I'm really hoping, not only for my sake, but for my husbands sake, we are getting close to the end of this stage!
I really want to enjoy being pregnant and to look back on this amazing time with so much joy.
There is nothing more joyful than seeing your baby for the first time on an ultrasound screen or hearing the heartbeat for the first time or my favorite; when I got to see his/her arms & feet move!
Seeing & hearing all of those things have made it SO joyful already and SO real for us!
I'll share more soon. I feel a craving coming on!
Actually...less than you might think! Jake Owen's new album Days of Gold was just released this week, but he's not as nervous about it as you might expect.
He says he feels a lot less pressure since his last album Barefoot Blue Jean Nights became such a success.
"I had a lot of pressure... before I ever had hits because you have to have one to maintain a career," he says. "So maybe with the last album, I had some pressure of like 'This is it. I better have a hit.' Now that I've had four in a row, it feels good. Once you get a taste of that No. 1 spot or being on top of a list of other names, you know that you're capable of it, and there's no pressure of wondering if you can ever do it."
Good news for Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman -- Great American Country has renewed her cooking show, Kimberly’s Simply Southern, for a third season.
New episodes will begin airing in 2014 and will follow Schlapman tasting local dishes while on tour and then trying to recreate them at her home in Nashville.
Schlapman says, “This series is a childhood dream of mine and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to get to share all the fun things I learn out there in my travels."
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are extending their Las Vegas into 2014 thanks to high demand.
But the couple insists they aren't abandoning Nashville for Vegas.
"It's not like, 'Well, now we've gotten to a point in our career where we're not touring anymore and we're not gonna make records... so we're going to go to Vegas,'" explains McGraw.
"Everything that we want to do in our careers is available. So we can pick and choose and do the things we want to do, and line 'em up in a way that works for our lives."
