Red Mountain High School

Both my daughter and my son have been blessed to have Mr. Robert Macias in their lives as a teacher, mentor and role model. Not only does he bring history to life in class and keeps his students engaged, he also is the student advisor for Club Diversity at Red Mountain High School. Club Diversity is a service learning organization that gives students the opportunty to serve their community by volunteering at various charitable events, doing fundraising car washes and selling items to raise money to purchase gifts for needly familes via Christmas Angels, and most importantly, raising awareness and tolerance of diverse cultures. Mr. Macias has taught my children, and many others, the importance of compassion, giving and doing good for their community. He also truly cares about his students and gives so much of his spare time to helping students and the community. In fact, he is there for his kids, even after they graduate! He is good natured, has a wonderful sense of humor and is such a positive influence in a world of so many negatives. Mr. Macias is one of the best teachers and mentors my kids have ever had. Please, please consider Mr. Macias as KNIX's & Fulton Homes' teacher of the week - I can't think of anyone more deserving than Mr. Macias! Thank you for your consideration!
