Rick was such an amazing influence on my son. This was his teacher 2 years ago but he made such an impact on my son that he still goes back to see him weekly and gets books from him. Rick was able to get my son to enjoy reading which all other attempts were failed. This is Ricks last year as a teacher as he is retiring this year and would love for him to be rewarded for his hard work and many years of dedication. He has a way to get students to ENJOY school and learning which is no easy task now a days. He has come up with amazing ways to help students learn different subjects and is a creative teacher. He still keeps in contact with many of his former students and know over the years he has touched many lives. Many times we as parents are not able to reward teachers that make a difference and I hope that this will help my son and I be able to thank him for his years of hard work and dedication.
