Copper Ridge

Everyday I see your warm smile, One as long as a mile. I can always talk to you, When something is bothering me and I’m not sure what to do. You fill my brain with knowledge, That will get me ready for college. You make sure I understand tests, So that I do my personal best. I appreciate all you do for me, You’re the best teacher there could every be. You always brighten up my day, And I love seeing you in the hallway. I’m so glad you came to our school, ‘Cause you are so very cool. I love your goosey walk, And your Chicago-an talk. You made my 6th grade experience fun, Even when you were dying from the Arizona sun. I didn’t know I could enjoy Social Studies that much, With your sweet words, it’s my heart you touch. You add a lot of care to everything you share, And for me you’re always there. You’re so funny, And you’re as sweet as honey. You try to memorize videos on the screen, While we’re gone and you can’t be seen. You make fun of our T.A., Karissa’s clicking skills, And make her teach us your test-taking skills. You always lend me a hand, When your lessons are hard to understand. You’re a dedicated teacher to my class, And will guarantee that all of us pass. I wrote this because I want you to know, That I’m grateful in your hard work to help me grow!
