PHOENIX (AP) _ An Iraqi man facing state charges after authorities say he detonated a homemade explosive device outside a Social Security building in Arizona has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for felony weapons possession.
Abdullatif Ali Aldosary was convicted on three counts in September.
Authorities say they found guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition hidden in his home while conducting a search after the explosion.
Aldosary isn't allowed to own firearms because of a previous felony conviction
Separately, he faces state charges, including 14 counts of attempted first-degree murder, after authorities say he detonated a homemade explosive device Nov. 30 outside the Social Security building in Casa Grande. No one was injured.
His arraignment in that case is set for March.
